Technology Merger Completed
(Indianapolis, IN – August 15, 2005)
Two Indiana companies separately owned by the CCR Companies,
Inc., have been merged to create a single source delivery model for Information
Technology and Telecommunications services in the Indiana area.
Corporate Computer Resources, Inc., a 17-year old IT
Services company located on the north side of Indianapolis, has merged with CCR
Communications, Inc., a provider of telephone systems, creating CCR Voice &
Data, Inc.
According to company President & CEO, Gene Olson, “This
merger creates a unique delivery model unlike any other in the Central Indiana
area. One vendor will now be able to
provide unified voice and data services from the dmarc all the way down to the
desktop, including telephones, network server and desktop support services.”
Typically, most Indiana businesses utilize multiple vendors
of technology who specialize in one side of the business or the other. According to Olson, “This can create
confusion and finger-pointing among the vendors and in the end, the client is
left trying to figure out who’s at fault.
With a single source delivery model, an enterprise wide plan is design
and implemented, thereby creating substantial savings for the client with less
hassles.”
Corporate Computer Resources previously focused on IT
infrastructure design, Network Security, Business Continuation Services and
support of network file servers and desktop devices. CCR Communications is an Authorized Toshiba
Telecommunications partner specializing in telephones, Voice over IP technology
and call center solutions.
CCR focuses on the small to medium sized business
market. Clients have included Alpine
Electronics, Borg Warner Turbo, Conseco, Farm Bureau Insurance, numerous
smaller companies and not-for-profit organizations.
